Robert Emo Obituary
Bob spent his formative years in the Montreal area (Verdun/LaSalle/Dollard-des-Ormeaux) and, with his loving wife Eva (Taugher) of 66 years, relocated to Oakville in the 1990s. An avid camper and outdoorsman, involved in community hockey programs, he had a passion for photography, gardening and woodworking. He was known for his kind-hearted nature and always made time for his children and grandchildren.
Robert, predeceased by his parents James and Florence Emo, survived by his devoted wife Eva, children James (Linda), Gary, Steve (Genna), and Kathy Morey (Phil), grandchildren Leigh (Adam), Declan, Peyton, Griffin, Tommy, Tara, Svetlana and Steidlher (Stephanie Andal) as well as great-grandchildren Adleigh, Liam and Scarlett.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday July 6th, 2024, 10:30am at Saint Matthew Roman Catholic Parish, 1150 Monks Passage, Oakville, ONT
Reception to follow service
In lieu of flowers donations are suggested, in honor of Robert Emo, to the Canadian Alzheimer's Association, https://alzheimer.ca/en

Met Bob and Eva at several family gatherings, knew Eva's sister Carol very well. Good folk, friendly, inviting, and had enjoyable conversations. Dedicated and loving. May your here-afters be blessed and full. Love, Grace and Craig

My first memory of meeting Bob was at he and Eva´s place for a get together they had just before Kathy and Phil´s wedding. I will always recall how welcoming he always was with his infectious laugh and beautiful smile. It was evident from the start that he had great love for his family and that they came first in everything he did. I pray that memories of these times will bring comfort to you all. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
