ROBERT MINORU ENDO Age 85, resident of Riverside, CA for 50 years, passed away Oct. 28, 2010 due to natural causes at Kaiser Hospital, Riverside. Robert was born March 30, 1925 in Mountain View, CA. He was a UCLA, Asst. Professor for 2 years, UCR Professor of Plant Pathology for 28 years and retired from UCR in 1989. He served in the 442nd Regimental Combat Team during WWII. Robert is survived by his wife, Aiko Endo of Riverside; daughter, Jean Stoutenborough of Thousand Oaks; sons, Robert Endo of San Diego and Kenneth Endo of Boulder; 4 grandchildren. Funeral on 11/8/2010, 10am at Acheson & Graham Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow at 11:45am, Riverside National Cemetery, Staging Area #4. We send our thoughts and condolences on the passing of Dr. Endo. We enjoyed our brief acquaintance with him during our evening walks, meeting him with his dog and also with the dog in the baby carriage. We will miss him. Sincerely, Mary and Bill Lavender.
