Thank you Grandad for sharing part of your life with me. I am so glad to have known you and loved you. I always joked about your many stories, but I wish I could hear them now. Especially the ones from when you were a child and everything you wanted cost a penny. Those always made me smile. I've been thinking about your legacy, a family that truly cares for one another. We don't always know how to say it but we feel things deeply and honestly. I know you did too. I know because of your big hugs and the way you squeezed my hand. You loved me and were proud of me and the feeling was mutual. I will miss you old man.
Your Jennifer
