Robert FOUNTAIN Obituary
With his family by his side, at the Meaford Long Term Care Centre, on Thursday, June 14th, 2012, Bob Fountain in his 90th year. Husband of the late Dorothy (nee Peacock) Fountain. Dear father of Don and his wife Beth of Meaford, Rob of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Irene and Bernard Perrault of Ottawa, and Hardie and his wife Kathy of Owen Sound. Sadly missed and loved by his grandchildren Sandra (Chris) Dieter, Kevin (Jen) Fountain; Matthew (Bailing), Marcus, and Shaughnessy Reid; Melissa (Jeff) Crannie, Lindsay (Darwin) Diebel, and Shauna Fountain. Also sadly missed by his nine great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents George and Mary Fountain, and by his brothers Lou, George, Harold, and Lloyd, and by his sister Isabelle. Friends are invited to Tannahill Funeral Home, 1178 - 4th Avenue West Owen Sound, N4K 4W5 (519-376-3710) for visiting on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Tuesday, June 19th, 2012 at 2 o'clock. Rev. Sally Ann Longfellow officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial Donations to the Meaford Nursing Home Memorial Fund or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
