I am so sorry for your loss: to learn of Brad gone so young. I met Brad in Pelly Crossing, YT as we were colleagues. I am shocked as I just found out on this visit about such a tragic loss to Cailin, his family, friends and those serving in Search and Rescue. We had a wonderful staff with whom we enjoyed the outdoors and the lifestyle of the Yukon on excursions. Brad was a dedicated teacher. He was missed when he moved to BC.

Three years ago and the news hit hard. Three years later and the the blow is only slightly less. Often thinking of "Sporto" - so many connections throughout the years and even now...

Kevin, Amy and family. I light this candle in loving memory of Brad. We considered him part of our famiily and enjoyed many special meals around our table, in the barn, and outdoors, he loved our daughter Cailin, and she him. It is with deepest sympathy that I send you my heartfelt condolences on the loss of your brother. I only hope that you will feel the loss less and less over the time to come. We will be thinking of you on Saturday the 14th. Know that he was loved here in the East Kootenays. He was a special person, and loved and lived life to the fullest.

Had the pleasure of knowing "Sporto" in his twenties. I see his adventure and zest for life never diminished! Such a loss both for Brad ( so many adventures left to do!) and those near and dear to him. May his enthusiasm and spirit live on and inspire all

Brad and I went to school growing up and also played a couple of years of hockey together. Although we haven't seen each other since a high school reunion a few years ago I was so sorry to receive the news from my father this morning. My thoughts and prayers go out to your family and friends. So sad....
