GERVAIS, Robert Armond

"Bob" 59, of St. Petersburg passed away peacefully while surrounded by his family on January 13, 2018. Bob was born in Wareham, MA and grew up in Miami and Tampa. Bob graduated with top honors from the Electrical Workers Association Apprenticeship Program, and worked over 20 years for the St. Petersburg Times as an electrician at the production plant. Always kind, hardworking, and generous, Bob was commended by the Florida Blood Services for donating over 5 gallons of blood. He loved fishing in the Gulf of Mexico, camping, playing poker, riding his bike, spending time at the beach and being with his family. Bob is survived by his wife of 32 years, Valerie; his children, Anthony and Anna Lynn; his brother, Gary Gervais, and his sister, Linda Towle. He was preceded in death by Henri Gervais, his father, Olive Cook Smith, mother, John Gervais, brother, Brenda Gervais, sister, and six cats. Funeral Mass to be held at Holy Family Catholic Church, St. Petersburg, on Wednesday, January 17, 11 am.
