My thoughts & prayers continue to be with the Gish family in these difficult times. I enjoyed the times I was able to spend with Bob; sometimes just the two of us. He has left a wonderful legacy in such a warm, loving family, friends and professional acquaintances.

I was fortunate enough to have Mr. Gish as my music teacher during my years at Bettendorf High School. He was always professional, friendly and encouraging, and was incredibly supportive. I was lucky to know him.

My thoughts and prayers go out to your family.

Thanks, Mr. Gish, for teaching me a lot about music and for giving me confidence to perform to the best of my ability. Thanks for many wonderful memories (ie.Kansas City and Europe trips and the Variety shows). Thanks also for influencing me to pursue a career in instrumental music. A loss to the band world but a really BIG gain to God's Symphonic Band of Angels.

Sincerely,

Jennie "Dizzy Fingers" (Sanders)Gervais
