Mr. Glascott use to say don't take any wooden nickels. I was never sure what he meant but I looked it up today and while it has a few meanings I'm going with a wooden token sometimes redeemable for a specific item such as a drink. Today I will be redeeming one of those nickels in his memory and toasting my great friend. Mr. Glascott thank you for all of the great memories and for always making me feel welcome. My deepest sympathy to Mrs. Glascott, Beth, Bobby and Meg.

Mr. Glascott was a great friend and neighbor. My fondest memories include time spent at the Ocean City beach house and the great breakfast Mr. Glascott would make for us kids. Another favorite memory was our family visit to Camp Tecumseh (just so happen to be the time Prince Albert of Monaco was there). Bob gave us a tour of the facilities, and made us feel like royalty too. My heartfelt sympathy to Mrs. Glascott, Beth, Bobby and Meg.

My deepest sympathy to Pat, the Glascott children, Pete Glascott, and their families. Bob was a great friend and neighbor. Ed and I had so many fun times with Bob. Some of the most memorable were the cocktail parties and the endless laughter. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

May our Heavenly Father bring Peace, Comfort, and Strength to your family during this time of sorrow. Be comforted in knowing that Bob is with HIM in heaven. During my time at Penn, at Temple and in NIRSA, I looked to Bob as one of my mentors.

Sitting here thinking about Bob and all the memories accumulated during my short time at Penn. NIRSA, Saturday morning swim lessons, Penn Relays, Lake Winnipesaukee, Ocean City, MD...and so many more. Such a good man and lovely family that shared their lives and love of a good time with me in that foreign land of Philly. Thank you for all the great memories. Peace and love always to Mrs. Glascott, Beth, Meg and Robert and their families. May he rest in peace.

Bob Glascott will be remembered by all of us who grew up with him in the Logan area of Philly as a great friend and excellent football player. Despite his local fame, he always remained 'one of the guys'.
My deepest sympathies to his wife Pat, and his children and grandchildren.
May he rest in peace.

I will always remember seeing you at Franklin Field when OSU played against Penn. You raised a wonderful daughter (Meg!)....you were one of the really good administrators in athletics. My condolences to the family.

Mr. Glascott was a true gentlemen. He always put others first. As a track and field official, he always did what was best for athletes and coaches. And he always was a teacher of life. God bless his family at this difficult time.

Mr. Glascott gave me my first opportunity at the Penn Relays. He was a fair man...willing to give me a chance at working in the clerking area. My sincere condolences to his family and friends. What a gift he was. I will miss seeing him every year in April...

Will miss Bob. He hired me at UPenn and I always enjoyed our meetings and his classic sayings about "not robbing Peter to pay Paul". He loved his job and made me love it as well.
