Robert GREAVES Obituary
Peacefully, at his home with his family at his side on Saturday, November 10, 2012, at the age of 52. Cherished husband of Lauren Dupasquier. Loving father of Alana (David Beaudoin Fortin), Brian, and Kaylie; and will be missed by their mother Tammy Greaves. Beloved son of Bill Greaves and Marlene (Dennis) Anderson. Dear brother of Carol, the late Christine Young, Cory, and Laura Elliott. Rob is survived by many nieces and nephews and will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all who knew him. Family and friends may pay respects at the

on Thursday, November 15th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held Friday, November 16th at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel. Interment at Capital Memorial Gardens. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation "Brain Cancer Research" would be appreciated.

Rob was our cousin. (His grandmother, Virginia was my father's sister) I knew Rob more in his childhood. We used to spend many happy times at his home in White Rock. In the summer he and his sister Carol used to come to our summer cottage on Vancouver Island, BC. We used to build rafts, have bon-fires and just have lots of childhood fun. I have fond memories of Rob. I am so sorry for your loss Lauren as well as to Tammy and particularly his children. Our prayers go out to you all. What a wonderful man he grew up to become. To the Greaves family.
I had the privilege of working with Rob for several years at the Orleans CPC. He was always around, with his big smile and kind words. I worked many events where he showed up to `check in`on us. The next best thing to his smile were the sandwiches he would bring... :-) Rob has inspire me to pursue my dream of working in the security, emergency management field. I will move on in his honor!
Unfortunately I am out of town right now and will be unable to attend the service tomorrow, but I am assured that my former CPC colleagues will be in attendance.

Lauren, my words are inadequate to express the sorrow and condolence to you and his children and all his family. Today being a Remembrance Day 11 Nov 2012 , it is a greater solemn loss to lose a life-long friend in Robert Charles Greaves whom we were bonded together as college roommates in the institution of Canada's Royal Military College. Soni and I were honoured by his friendship and presence as part of our wedding party. Our children were ever excited to see him and hug him dearly as their Uncle Rob.

I remember Rob as a person who never let a smile leave his face. He was always upbeat and energetic. I last met Rob as he was dining in Kemptville with a couple of relatives and he positively bounced across the room to say hi and we had a great conversation.
