Robert GREENWOOD-MADSEN Obituary
October 20, 1959 - May 12, 2016
On Thursday, May 12, 2016 Robert (Bob) Greenwood-Madsen of Sherwood Park passed away after a brief battle with cancer at the age of 56. Bob lived his last days with courage and dignity.
He is survived by his wife Anne, his stepchildren Dustin (Nancy), Jaimie (Jeremi), Kevin (Jasmine) and grandchildren Tyson, Teagan, and Max. Bob also leaves his sister Linda (Marty), brother Tom (Carlene) sisters-in-law Allison (Ray), Waew (Edwin), nieces and nephews Jacqui, Joni, John and Ken and his beloved dogs Shelby and Cooper. He was predeceased by his grandparents, parents Niels and Irene, brother Jack and aunt Barb. Bob will be fondly remembered by close friends Jim (Carol), Steve (Svitlana), Dennis (Pam) and many others too numerous to mention.
Heartfelt thanks to Dr. Michael Crotty, nurse Loretta, and the staff at Norwood Palliative care. At Bob's request there will be no funeral service. A celebration of Bob's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Bob's memory to any cancer charity of your choice.
