For some reason I thought about my time as an Apple dealer 30 years ago in Savannah and wondered about the reps who serviced my account. I remembered Bob Gundeck and today I searched for him, as I remembered him as a good and decent human being. I was shocked and saddened to see that he had passed away just a year ago. My condolences, albeit very belatedly, to his family. Obviously he left a huge impression on many people.

I just learned of Bob's passing. Bob hired me at Apple and was only around for a few months but he taught me much during that time. He was greatly admired among the rep firm group.
Blessings to you all.

I worked with Bob in the 1970's & 1980's when we were manufacturer's reps for Pioneer High Fidelity. His knowledge of business and his leadership abilities were inspirational. Further, he was a great family man and an inspired sportsman. I regret that I did not find out about his passing until today.

It is with great sadness that I received the news that Bob has passed away. I will always remember his kindness and friendliness and good humor. My full compassion is with his wife, his children and his grandchildren. May he rest in peace.

My sons, Mark and Peter and I are so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. He was truly a remarkable man who provided so many happy memories for us. I remember when Diane bought the gorilla suit mentioned in the obituary. She was so proud to have gotten it as a bargain price due to the two left feet. Bob wore it to the airport to greet a friend! Just another example of his fun loving nature. In addition to the laughter he brought to so many he also had a great loving and generous heart. My deepest sympathy to Diane, Ethan and Winnie. I know how much this man will be missed in their lives. My love to you all.
