Eric David Salazar

Eric was born on May 7, 1974, the only child of Tom and Rosanne Salazar. He was taken from us too soon on February 25th due to a tragic automobile accident on his way to work. We take comfort knowing that he did not suffer.

Eric was a kind-hearted with a free spirit. He worked very hard and overcame many difficult challenges in his life. He was very talented in so many things, but especially at his jobs. He managed to learn many different types of work and excelled in all of them. He was also a wonderful artist creating several drawings when he had a lot of time on his hands.

He was on a good path when his Heavenly Father called him home. He had many family members waiting for him on the other side, especially his Grandpa Robertson, who was his biggest advocate during Eric’s most trying times and his grandma Rose (Oneida) who was more like a second mother. She took care of him for several years when he was a child so his parents were able to work.

He will be loved and missed by all who knew him and we look forward to the day we will all be reunited.

Eric is survived by his parents Tom and Rosanne Salazar, grandparents Fred (Shari) Oneida, son Brendon Kelson, soulmate and best friend Vanessa Nevarez and his other ‘son’ Knox, his canine companion. He also had many aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him especially his Uncle Chris who was more like a brother as they were only two years apart in age.

Preceded in death by grandmother Rose Oneida and grandparents John Clark and Vesta Robertson.

A viewing will be held Monday, March 2, 2020 from 9:30 – 10:30 A.M. at Broomhead Funeral Home, 12600 S. 2200 W. Riverton, UT. Graveside services will be held at 12:00 P.M. at Herriman City Cemetery, 12456 S. Pioneer St. (6000 W.) and he be laid to rest by his Grandma Rose.
