Mr. Gagner. Just saw your post. Rob's prized car benefited from a hail storm and the insurance that covered its Loden Green repaint. Your butt added a bit of customization! I sure miss those days of yore, and the Hansen basement that housed both the Poore Boyes and the Yetti Men (Lee's band, which was our inspiration). And we all started off with "Louie Louie"... and "Wipe Out". I'm currently working on Eddie Van Halen's "Eruption" and Jeff Beck's "Cause we've ended as lovers"... but only once I master "Louie Louie" and "Wipe Out". God rest Robby. He was in the league of Bonham, Cobham and (God love him) Keith Moon. Powerful stuff. John Summer.

One of the earliest memories of Rob and I- -when he had just finished painting his '54 (?) Ford that he had meticulousy "re-modeled"- completely. We were admiring the loden green color that he had painted it as it sat in the driveway. I leaned against the front fender of the car not knowing it was still tacky and left a perfect imprint of my "cheeks" on the fender. Rob was less than pleased. But he got over it. Even when I brought it up once a year. I loved the man !

I wasn't really friends with Rob. He was my boyfriends brother. He was always kind and fun to be around. I was taken aback when he passed away. So sad.
What a fun group of guys and gals to hang around with. Although I was very young everyone treated me with respect. It was a blast with music spicing it up.
That was a great time in my life. Rob was a big part of it.
Lee and family, my heart goes out to you.

I have wonderful memories of Rob from over fifty years ago. Anytime spent with Rob Hanson was bound to have pure fun and laughter involved. And then we would get around to playing music, which only bumped it all up a notch or two. Love to you Rob!

Just got word of Robbie's passing from Paul Laidig. So sad to hear. Even though we were "competitors" back in the day, we were still friends. I only wish that I had stayed connected. I will always remember the great times we had growing up by the lake!!! Danceland forever!!!

Rob was THE powerhouse drummer in town. "I'm a man" (Yardbirds) was an explosion before its time. It was great being in his frst band, and his third or fourth. Rock On!

Sorry to hear Robbie is gone. The Poore Boys are poorer from the loss. Lots of memories of fun band practices in his basement with Lee around.
