Robert Hebert, Sr

March 8, 1945 ~ February 22, 2025 (age 79)

Robert Hebert, Sr (Bob), age 79, currently of Massillon, originally from Southbridge, MA passed away peacefully on February 22, 2025, surrounded by his loving family after a brief illness.

He was born in Southbridge, Massachusetts to the late Theodore and Yvonne (Lamothe) Hebert

Robert was a beloved father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend. He proudly served his country in the US Army; after his service he married and raised four sons and a daughter. Early in his career, he owned and managed several properties where his children could often be found working right alongside him. After his business endeavors, he worked as a machine operator at the AO in Southbridge, MA. However, the roles he enjoyed the most and cherished dearly were those of being father and grandfather where he simply excelled.

His interests included riding motorcycles, card games, playing bingo at local bingo halls, listening to Johnny Cash and Elvis Presley, and travel, but his absolute favorite way to spend his time was just being with and talking to family offering his brand of wisdom and perspective.

Robert is survived by his children Lawrence (Sue) Hebert, Robert Hebert, Jr, Richard (Bobbie) Hebert, Patricia (Doug) Remillard, and Scott (Sherri) Hebert. Grandchildren Stephen, Morgan, Miranda, Scott Jr, Tanner, Conner, Tyler, Logan, Mason, Ricky, Casey and Chloe. Great grandchildren Aria, Stiles, Alayna, Braxton, Noah, Bentley, Elizabeth, Miah, Oliver, and Alexis.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Richard and Ronald, a sister, grandson Jesse, and great grandchildren Kinsley, Hailey, and Harlow.

Following Robert's wishes, there will be no public services; the family will celebrate his life with a private memorial.
