Holslin, Robert Lee age 73, of Rockford, Minnesota passed away peacefully at his home October 12, 2012 surrounded by his loving family. Born, one of three children to Edward and Alatha (Prickett) Johnson, he was baptized and confirmed at the Trinity Lutheran Church, He recieved his education as a student of the Alberta School System and went on to get his auto-body training from the Hennipin Technical School. Following his career interests, he spent many years as an employee of International Harvestor and followed his retirement there, with ten years at the Buffalo Cenex. He was known for his cars and was a member of "The Wright County Car Club" where in addition to Ethel,he sported his 1941 Ford Pick-up. On March 21, 1959, after a couple years of dating, Bob married the "Apple of his Eye." Ethel Louise Lewis and to this union was born five children: Michael (Jean) of Hanover, Jean Hogue of Rockford, Cheryl (Ted) Perry of Raymond, Karen (Joe) Drusch of Howard Lake and Nancy (Doug) Naglich of Milaca. Bob is also survived by a brother, Elbert of Alberta, a dear sister-in-law, Deloris Philiph of Morris, 15 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and 2 nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Dorothy Zade, and a brother, David Zade. Services have been set for 11 A.M. October 17th, 2012 from the Cross Lutheran Church of Rockford, Minnesota with visitation to take place at the Peterson Chapel, October 16th from 6-8 PM and one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow on October 18th at 1 PM Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery - Alberta, Minnesota.

My grandfather was the most incredible man. He treated my grandmother like gold and loved his family so so much! He really loved life! It's hard and we will always miss him but he will always be in our hearts. We love you Bumpa! See you again some day!
