Dear Phyllis and Family: I am off on a medical leave but what a shock when I read the nursing notes and saw that your Dad had passed following an afternoon outing with you. I would have to say "that's Bob"!! What a wonderful "gentle" man he was - I really enjoyed having him as a resident of Iler Lodge. Take care and my deepest sympathies to you and the whole family.

A sad but a happy time to say the least. We all know that when God gave the heads up to Elsie that Bob was coming home she didn't walk but she ran to the gates to greet him but only after telling all the other family that Bob was on his way. As parents, brothers and sisters and the rest of the family that went a head stood waiting their turn to greet him, I know Bob had more than a few tears streaming down his face and we all know that as excited as Bob was to hold Elsie in his arms again his greatest joy was to sit at the feet of his Lord and Saviour. Bob is in a place so much better then we can ever imagine or dream. No more worries of this earth, no more pain just the experience of eternity with his most beloved. Bob always had a smile and kind words for me over the years and I am thankful for the inspiration he was to all of us, he will be missed. My prayers are with you all!
