Robert Iaquinto Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 20, 2009.
Robert "Bob" Iaquinto, 68, passed away August 20, 2009, at his home in Clayton, NC, with his wife, Loraine, at his side. Born April 5, 1941, to the late Salvatore and Minnie Yoquinto, in Brooklyn, NY, Bob led a life full of energy, humor, and love. He is survived by his wife, Loraine; his daughter and son-in-law, John and Ella Price of Greeneville, TN; his son and daughter-in-law, Sal and Stephanie Iaquinto of Virginia Beach, VA; and his six grandchildren, Tony, Priscilla, and Connie Price, and Nicholas, Alex, and Jonathan Iaquinto. Bob was a business owner, hearing aid specialist, and, most recently, an actor in television shows, commercials, and films, a career which suited his gregarious personality perfectly. Always enjoying new experiences, Bob lived in many places in the U.S., including New York, Arizona, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Nevada, and, most recently, North Carolina. Bob made friends easily and enjoyed the company of friends and family. He was also a dog lover and will be missed by his companions Annie and Jesse. Bob was incredibly fortunate to have two great loves throughout his life: his wonderful wife Loraine, who brought renewed joy and love into his life for the past 13 years; and his late wife Connie, with whom he raised his family, who passed away in 1991. Most importantly, however, Bob loved Jesus and always sought to be nearer to him. A funeral service will be held Monday at 1:00 p.m. at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel, with a private family burial at Colonial Grove Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
