Robert S. Jackman

I know the Fortville High School Class of 1958 has lost a wonderful member. Condolences to his immediate family and many friends. He was always 'Sam' to me and to many other of his classmates.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I worked for Dr Jackman many years ago. I learned so much, he was a great man, boss, doctor. You are in my thoughts.

Oh, Kathy and John - I am so sorry to hear this news today. You were all family to us growing up, and Bob is deeply missed. He provided a ballast, a rudder in the water for us all with his gentle, super smart and reliable manner. The world is a lesser place without him. Sending you much love,

You will be missed. It was wonderful to see you at so many jazz events supporting all of us. Always with a smile and so appreciative of the music. You will always be remembered and in our hearts.

Uncle Bob was a great man! I always enjoyed his company and when I married his nephew Justin, he and Aunt Kathy were so welcoming into the family. The world lost a great man and I'm lucky enough to say that I got to know him. I will miss him dearly!!

Bob was a regular fixture at so many jazz concerts, always there with his wife. I loved seeing him and talking with him about the music -- he was very erudite and open-minded. He will be missed!

He was one of the best Brother -In-Laws anyone could ever have!!! Boyd and I were so happy that we went to Califorina three years ago to spend time with Kathy and Sam.They went out of their way to show us around California.And we were ever so grateful.

Kathy, I am sorry about your husbans's passing. I, of course, did not know him, but wanted to share my condolences with you and your family. I am assuming that you remember me from high school..Patti Cooper.. I heard about your sad news from Patti and just wanted to let you know, you are in my prayers.

I am so, so sorry to hear of Bob's passing! We have not seen each other very often in the past few years, but we had such wonderful times earlier!

Such a dear, dear man. I will miss his laugh and quirky sense of humor. My deepest sympathy Kathy and John. We loved him too. :(
