Robert Jaspers Obituary
Robert "Bob", age 96, beloved husband of the late Bea Jaspers (nee Mangold). Died on Saturday, July 15, 2017. Loving father of Mary (Mike Sweeney), Bob (Lynn) and the late Ann Berry and Jane Jaspers. Dear grandfather of Jennifer (Todd), Rob (Brittany) and Maria (Eric) and great grandfather of Brady, Grace, Olivia, Charlotte and Claire . He served in the Army Courier Service as a first lieutenant during WWII. He and his brother Ray ("Red") owned the Mt. Echo Tavern since 1943 until they sold it in 1987 when both of them went to work at the Hamilton County Clerk of Courts office. He retired at 83 after 20 years. Visitation Saturday at St. Ignatius of Loyola Church, 5222 North Bend Road, from 10:30AM until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30AM. B.J. I am very sad to hear of Mr. Bob Jaspers passing away. He was a warm and wonderful man. He will be missed by all who knew him.
