Robert JONES Obituary
Passed away peacefully at the Queensway Carleton Hospital on July 31, 2012 at the age of 65 surrounded by family and friends. Son of the late Kenneth and Lillian Jones. Beloved father of Angela (Dennis) and fondly remembered by his first wife Janet Harris (Dennis). Dear brother of Marilyn Parker (the late Jacques) and Susan Pinard (Paul). Cherished stepfather of Jeff (Jessica), Meagan (Bill), Emily, and Matthew (Lisa), also survived by their mother Faye Roback-Jones. Good friend of Jill and Bob Smith. Bob had a long and distinguished career at Energy, Mines and Resources and the National Energy Board. Bob is mourned by his nephew and nieces and many friends. He was a kind and generous man who will be remembered for his sense of humour. A Memorial Service will be held at the Pinecrest Rememberance Chapel (2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa) on Saturday, August 4th at 2 p.m. to celebrate his life.
