I first met Bob when he appeared, straight from Brooklyn, on the doorstep of my "hippie commune" in the early '70s in Oakland. His generous spirit and irrepressible presence light up so many years of memories. It's hard to believe he's gone; he left us with so much. I honestly can't imagine the world without Bob's vibrant personality in it. I met Bob through his wife Gail. As an individual, he was a hoot and a holler. Together, they were a dynamic duo. My condolences to Gail and Bob's friends and family. He will be so very missed.

I first met Bob in the mid 70s.I was 19 and we worked for Airporter.He was a bus driver.RIP- Michael Evans.
