Robert John Klauss, 74, of Greensburg, passed away Monday, April 19, 2021. He was born March 3, 1947, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late William Lawson Klauss and Agnes Patricia Kovacik Klauss. Prior to retirement, Robert worked as the high school librarian and assistant administrator for Jeannette High School. He was a very active member of the West Penn Scuba Club and the White Oak Rod and Gun Club. Robert loved diving, reading, the blues, his Morgan and his John Deere tractor but most of all he loved his family and was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Surviving are his loving wife of 52 years, Suzanne Scullion Klauss; daughters, Heather Neill and husband, Patrick, and Megan Flamm and husband, Matthew; grandchildren, who warmly knew him as Toto, Mackenzie, Caitlin, Hunter and Emerson; sister, Nancy; and brother, Lawson. Family and friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the Westminister Presbyterian Church, 1120 Harvey Ave., Greensburg. Visitors are asked to social distance and to wear masks. Services will be held in the church at 1 p.m. Friday. KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME is entrusted with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, his family asks that contributions be made to the Dive Warriors, a charity dedicated to helping disabled veterans at divewarriors.org or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or www.stjude.org. Our deepest sympathy to the Klauss Family. Bob and his entire family were neighbors and good friends. It sadness us with his loss. People touch your lives in many ways and he had the honest caring and sincere friendship. You don't meet people like Bob everyday and we will always remember his kindness. Our prayers and love are with the family. God Bless you all. He will be missed by many.
