Robert F. Kohl Robert F. Kohl, age 81 of 2035 Andrea Lane, Manitowoc, died Thursday evening, January 6, 2011, at Rivers Bend Health and Rehabilitation Center in the care of Holy Family Memorial Medical Center Hospice. Bob was born on January 27, 1929, in Two Rivers, son of the late Robert and Vanda (Rogalski) Kohl Sr. He graduated from Washington High School in Two Rivers in 1947. Bob was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving from December 15, 1948 to October 25, 1949. On May 31, 1952, Bob married the former Shirlee Mrozinski at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Manitowoc. He owned and operated various taverns in Mishicot and Two Rivers, as well as Kohl’s Fish Haven in Brussels for 10 years and Manitowoc Glass until his retirement in 1991. Bob was a member of the Manitowoc Yacht Club and was a vendor at the Manitowoc Farmers’ Market. Survivors include his wife: Shirlee Kohl, Manitowoc; two sons and one daughter-in-law: Jeff (Loy) Kohl, Lake City, MI; Steve Kohl, Manitowoc; one daughter and her fiancé: Terry Luedtke and Craig Theodorou, Manitowoc; five grandchildren: Christopher, Kayla, and Erik Luedtke; Heather and Jason Bui; two great grandchildren: Naudi and Kevin; one sister and brother-in-law: Betty (Earl) Brouchoud, Manitowoc; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law include: Robert (Donna) Mrozinski, Manitowoc; Joann (James) Hoffman, Manitowoc; Ralph (Diana) Mrozinski, Manitowoc; Debbi Mrozinski, Manitowoc; Ken (Barbara) Mrozinski, Ventura, CA; Charlotte Mrozinski, Manitowoc and her friend, Manuel; Sandy (James) Larsen, Plover; Mary Mrozinski, Manitowoc. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends survive. He was preceded in death by his parents: Robert and Vanda Kohl; one daughter: Dawn M. Kohl Villagomez; one brother-in-law: Jack Mrozinski. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 15, 2011, at the Jens Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 1122 South 8th Street, Manitowoc. Deacon Paul Kieffer will officiate with entombment of his cremated remains at Calvary Mausoleum in Manitowoc.
