Robert J. Kruska 74 of Richland Township passed away Friday October 21, 2022 at Ascension Borgess Place. Robert was born January 21, 1948 in Muskegon the son of Harry and Josephine (Goresch) Kruska. He was a graduate of Western Michigan University and taught at Galesburg-Augusta Middle School and High School. He was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church where he was active in serving in their funeral luncheon ministry and he enjoyed fishing, traveling by cruise and spending time at Fife Lake and the Traverse City area. On August 19, 1972 in Marne, MI Robert was united in marriage to the former Mary E. Koster who survives. Also surviving are two children, Elizabeth (Wesley Lawrence) Kruska, James (Gyunghee) Kruska; grandson, Henry Kruska; brother, Michael Kruska; two sisters, Ann (James) Wirtz, Cathy Salacina; sister-in-law, Rosemary Michalski; several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Walter Michalski; sister, Ruth Percy; brother-in-law, Gary Salacina. Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army. Mr. Kruska just happen to cross my mind and I am sad to find out that he has passed away. He was a great teacher and to this day, I am now 45, I still think of a few key things he instilled in me during my high school years. Thank you for all you did for so many Mr. Kruska!

I loved him! Great teacher! I had him for shop class he taught ne alot! He taught me to stand up for what I believe and dont ever back down!

Mr. Kruska was a great teacher and I still remember many lessons in his class. He will be greatly missed! God bless him and his family.
