I met Bobby the first day he worked at Dow. He walked into the lunchroom and I was the only one in there. I said what´s up young buck and he just smiled and started talking. He told me years later, that he was nervous and that just settled him down and made him feel welcome. I trained Bobby for a couple of weeks there at Mag Casting. Later he got into pipefitting and I was a journeyman by then and at some time I had him as an apprentice for a few months. We worked together off and on at shutdowns and sometimes overtime. He and I worked more overtime than we should have. But we were trying to raise and provide for our families. Sometimes when we were on jobs that had multiple fitters, we would often pair up together. He would pick me and I never complained, he was such a good worker and friend. We enjoyed talking about family and hunting. He was also a very strong Christian and didn´t mind sharing his views. I loved Bobby, he was a true friend. I know he loved his family with all his heart. RIP Bobby
And to his wife, daughters and family you have my most sincere condolences and sympathies. He loved you dearly.
Sincerely
Bruno Wierzbicki
