Robert Labuda Obituary
Bob was born on June 1, 1945 in Harvey, Illinois. He grew up with his parents and brothers and attended Thornton High School, where he played both baseball and basketball.
Bob met his first wife Linda Wojtanowski in high school, and they made many fun memories with their friends from Northern Illinois University and Harvey. They got married after graduation and had two children, Lisa and Rob. Bob lived in Oak Forest for 20 years and enjoyed spending time with his family. He was known for coaching baseball and football and enjoyed listening to the Rolling Stones and playing air hockey.
Bob was remarried in 1982 to Linda Boris who he met through his brother Bill. They had one wonderful son, Michael a few years later.
Bob spent many years in both sales and management for the Yellow Pages. He was known for his leadership and mentoring and was a highly successful salesman. Some of his favorite memories outside of work included camping in Colorado with his sons, playing bags at family parties and later in life playing fantasy football, cards and Scrabble with his children.
Bob will be greatly missed. He was known for his positive outlook and perseverance. He lived life to the fullest and has passed on a legacy of love and devotion to his family and friends.
Memorial Service: October 11th, 2025 at 10:00 a.m.
