Robert Larivee Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jan. 13, 2010.
LAS VEGAS — Bobby Larivee, of Harwich, died on New Year's Day, 2010, at his home in Las Vegas, Nev.

Born Robert Francis Larivee on May 2, 1976, in Attleboro, Mass., he was the youngest of seven children. He is survived by his father, Raymond George Larivee of Tigard, Ore.; his mother, Mary Anne Vitale of Pawtucket, R.I.; and six brothers and sisters, whom he fondly referred to as Jake, Lynnie-Babes, Mae, Chacho, Ra-Ray, and Bethy-Babes. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, many other extended family members, and countless friends.

For those of us who were lucky enough to know him, he was a man of exceptional character. He was not only comically entertaining, but also generous in spirit — always helping those around him in any way he found possible. He is sorely missed, but will forever live in the hearts of all of us who love him.

A celebration of life for Bobby will be held at St. Mary's Church, 103 Pine St., Pawtucket, R.I., on Jan. 17, at 2:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been set up in Robert's name. Donations may be mailed to: In Memory of Robert Francis Larivee, c/o Mary E. Updegraff, 452 Valery Court, Millersville, MD 21108.

It was an honor to know Bobbie. It seems like yesterday he was taking over my position in The Capri at Sunset Station. Years later we would work together as bartenders. Watching Bobbie do stand-up comedy was hilarious as he was very talented. Most of all I'll miss his gentle smile. My sympathies to his family, God bless and rest in peace.
