Bellingham, Washington - Robert Edward Leigh went home to his Lord on Nov 28 2020. He was born Feb 1 1924 to Leonard Arthur Wheeler and Lillian Atkins Wheeler in Long Beach, CA. Robert grew up in Southern California and played guitar in a country band in his early years and continued to play his guitar throughout his life. Robert was an ardent Ham Radio operator and spoke to people all over the United States and sometimes the world. Robert lived in Australia and Hawaii before moving to Washington where he lived out his life. Robert was preceded in death by his wife Zelda of 25 years. Robert is survived by four step-children and numerous step-grandchildren.

We were so privileged to meet Bob (A man we called Dad) Twenty five years ago. He had just married Zelda (A lady we called mom) We so enjoyed their friendship. They will be missed!
