Robert L. MacDonald

RIP Bobby...

I had the privilege and pleasure of working with Robert at Cape Internet, but what gave us both greater joy was playing music together. Robert sat in with our band occasionally, and always brought good humor, great conversation and kickin' bass licks to the sessions. His love for his family was always apparent, through his actions and his words. He was a friend to many, and he will be greatly missed throughout his communities.

We are in deep denial of Robert's (Roberto's) passing, he was a great friend and mentor, he had a deep knowledge about everything. The thing that we loved about Robert the most was his humor and upbeat attitude. He constantly talked about his loving wife Maryellen and his family. May you draw on the strength of your friends and family and knowing that he was called upon by the Lord to serve Him. I have some great memories of my time with Mr. MacDonald, teaching us about computers and graphic arts at the Wing School. He was a patient and intelligent man. My sympathy goes out to all of his family.

I was deeply saddened to hear about Robert. I am thankful that I had the opportunity to work with him at Wing for so many years. Robert was much more than the A.V. specialist. He was truly a friend.

I will always remember his incredibly sharp wit and his delightfully dry sense of humor. May the memory of 23 wonderful years together help you through the difficult times.

I had the pleasure of knowing Robert (and Mrs. MacDonald) while I was at Sandwich Public Schools, and have Robert to thank for recommending me for a summer job at CapeInternet. In both of those roles, Robert was a good man with a lot of energy and a good sense of humor.

Rob was a very talented man. The short time I knew him, he was kind and warm towards me. May Rob finally be without anymore pain, or suffering. It was a blessing to get to know him, and a joy listening to his music one last time.
