I was friends with Rob since the late 80s in high school,, and throughout life wherever life took us. I remember late night movies, hanging out with our friend Karl, and drinking Rob's special blend of instant iced tea with lemon. I remember a weekend at his trailer, and fishing, and being the only one to catch anything that day. It annoyed Karl, but we all enjoyed the time spent together. Rob was not the chatty type, in fact Karl probably did the most talking of all 3 us in those days lol! Even though Rob may have been a man of few words, his kind actions spoke loudly for him. Rob in spite of his humble nature and sudden passing made big and lasting memories for those around him lucky enough to be called his friend. I was one of those lucky ones. I Thank God I got to see him a couple more times in September and October. I will one day see you again Rob, along with Karl, and all the rest of my friends and family who have gone before. However, I hope that day is still a long time off. I have many more plans for my future, and im sure you understand.
