A quick wit and terrific sense of humour. When Bob giggled it was always infectious. His loyalty to his friends and family were beyond reproach. A proud Scotsman who never forgot his roots.. Robbie Burns quote so befits Robert McCaig "an honest man is the noblest work of God".

Robert me boy, I'm gonna miss you. You were always of the best spirit even in spite of the condition you were in. I'll miss your stories of the Ford days and the characters you had to deal with, always good for a hearty laugh.
Your woodworking and train and boat models were a great example of your creative spirit. Too bad your computer skills weren't as up to snuff but then again, I would have never had the opportunity to meet you and Maggie!
Maggie has you now and knowing that, I'm content.
Goodbye good friend,

From all of the Ruffilli's, our sincere condolences on the loss of Mr. McCaig. We loved to learn of his passion for golf and curling,(a true Scot!), which we understand was only exceeded by his love and passion for his wife and children. He was so kind to have given his "hole in one" tie to our son Rob!
