Dr McCue as we knew him at Woodhull was always someone those of us in Creative Arts Therapy admired and felt supported and guided by. It felt good if he liked you, though that had to be earned! Always on point -- funny and caring. Too shocking that he had such a short time after retirement. His service helped others -- a good good man.

Farewell Bob from fellow West Mifflin South HS classmate and trombonist. We had some great times growing up together.
Sending deepest condolences to Daniel and your family.

"Bobby", as we knew him as children was my next door neighbor and great friend of mine from 1st grade until graduation at West Mifflin South.
Bob played the trombone in the marching band and I played the trumpet. We saw each other often and actually took piano lessons from the same teacher.
I am so upset and sorry to hear of Bobby's passing. This is a great shock and a tremendous loss of a truly good and nice human being.
I'll miss you Dr.McCue. Your professional work will carry on forever.

I was extremely saddened to hear of Bob's death. I met him when I started work at Woodhull twenty years ago. He was an excellent clinician, very dedicated to his patients, a great administrator of a very difficult department, and a wonderful person. I had the deepest respect for him. Even though I left Woodhull in 2001, I continued to run into Bob in the neighborhood where we live and at the subway station. I never met Daniel, but I am thinking of you. I know Bob will be sorely missed.

I've worked with Robert for about 13 years. He was a dedicated student, and very funny to work with. Robert always made me feel as though I am the best at what I do, and that I am an authority. He respected my judgement. Robert was exceptionally fun and funny to work with. I will always treasure the various occasions that we laughed, and then proceeded with the hard work that there was to do, as well.

I was their cat sitter. I am quite shocked that Dr. Robert has left us and feel terribly inadequate to express my feelings for Daniel who has already suffered with the losses of his father and mother, very recently. Alas.
