My father, Charles Gerding, was a long time employee of Edgewater Steel and worked with or for Bob over the years. Bob's name was a household word in our family, and one that will be remembered quite positively. Reading this 3 years after his passing, I wanted to note the good memories and extend belated sympathy to the family.
