The McKenzie family lived down the street from our house. I was friends with Bob's son Dan. I knew Bob to be a very friendly person and a good neighbor. Condolences to his family. I'm sure he will be missed.

I had the honor of knowing Mr. McKenzie when he lived down the road from my parents. I always enjoyed talking with him and will always remember his great smile and laugh as he shared stories from his U of Iowa days playing football or talking about his trips to Oklahoma. What a great man he was and it was an honor to know him and Fran.

Bob was a great guy. My two memories are: I had just started working there when he ask me to work with the junior achievement program. What could I say he was the boss. But he gave me an extra weeks vacation. Then when I helped Ed get his car out of the ditch he conned him to buy me a steak lunch. You know how hard it was to get any money out of Ed. RIP Bob.

I am sorry for your loss. It is always hard to lose a loved one in death. Our heavenly Father is very aware and understands the pain you feel. He will give you comfort. (Psalms 86:6,7) Your family has my deepest sympathy.
