Robert F. Mennow, 94, of Southwest Greensburg, died Friday, May 22, 2015, in Redstone Highlands, Greensburg. He was born Aug. 9, 1920, in Greensburg, a son of the late Frank Mennow and Catherine (Kosko) Mennow Exton. Prior to retirement, he had been employed by Brown-Boveri, formerly ITE, in South Greensburg. He was a World War II veteran, having served in the Army Air Corps as a first lieutenant, and a member of VFW Post 33, Greensburg. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Florence I. (Moorhead) Mennow. He is survived by two daughters, Susan Hollinger and her husband, William, of Memphis, Tenn., and Sally Baloga, of Greensburg; a sister-in-law, Joy Blystone, of Greensburg; a special friend, Eileen Petrich, of Greensburg; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME INC., 516 Stanton St., Greensburg. A funeral service will begin at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home with the Rev. Donald H. Hazel officiating. Entombment will follow in the Westmoreland County Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family would like to thank the staff at Redstone Highlands for their devoted care and compassion.
