MILACCI ROBERT JOSEPH
36, recently of New York, NY, lost his short, courageous battle with brain cancer on Friday, February 13, 2009. He was the beloved husband of Jennifer (Haylor) and loving father of Laurel Katherine and Robert Beck. Born February 12, 1973, he is survived by his parents, Robert P. Milacci of Bridgeville, PA, and Beteena (Marlowe) Marburger of Sewickley, PA. He is also survived by his step-mother Annette (Paesano) Milacci, his step-father Donald Marburger, his brother Gregg Milacci of Boston, MA, his grandmother Eileen Marlowe Hall of Sutton, WV, and his step-grandmother Agnes Paesano. Morgan Securities, Putnam Investments, Landmark Technologies, and Fidelity Investments, and was an independent film consultant and most recently a proud stay-at-home dad. Robb loved his family, cherished his friends, enjoyed traveling, read comics, ran marathons, watched films avidly, scuba dived, and dreamt of his family's future. He was a member of Delta Upsilon fraternity, the CFA Institute, and the New York Society of Securities Analysts. A service in celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, February 28th at 1pm at St. Peter's Church, 346 West 20th Street, New York, NY. A reception will be held immediately following at The Park, 118 10th Avenue. We wish to offer our condolences to Bob, Beteena, and Greg on their loss. And also to Jennifer and the children. We will always remember Robb as an outstanding young man when he was growing up in our neighborhood. He was also a close friend of our (now)son-in-law Dan, both at Bethel Park High School and Carnegie-Mellon University.

My thoughts and prayers have been with you throughout this trying time and will continue indefinitely. Robb's smile is amazing, try to smile for him through your tears and your heart will be filled with his love. I know your heartbreak all to well as I lost my husband just about a year ago. Embrace your sadness and rejoice when you are having a good day. Life goes on but our precious husbands will always be our personal angels watching over us.

Love and prayers

To the Milacci Family,
I am so very sorry for your loss. Robb was a high school friend of mine. I remember him very fondly. He was kind, thoughtful, and very good-natured. A true gentleman, even as a teenager.
You are all in my thoughts.
Love,
