Robert Miles Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Nov. 4, 2024.

Robert R. Miles (1943-2024)

Our beloved father, husband and grandfather left this earth after a brief, but difficult battle with cancer. A fighter until the end, Bob (Bubba) passed away on November 4th at the age of 80 surrounded by family. He requested a cremation and that we scatter his ashes in one of his favorite spots, Colorado.

Bubba was born on November 28th, 1943 in Kansas City and served his country in the Army National Guard for 8 years. He married the love of his life, Theresa, in 1966 and they were married for 58 years. He enjoyed taking care of his boats and vehicles, watching his grandsons play hockey, telling stories of his precious dog "Lola" that had passed, lake time with family and spending time with his grandkids. The girls loved to steal his favorite chair and he would chase them out of it while they squealed with laughter only to do it the next time he got up. He truly enjoyed being a grandpa and will be missed dearly. Bubba is survived by his loving wife, Theresa, his two daughters, Michelle (Andy) and Kristi (Craig), four grandkids, Megan (Tim), Ryan (Hannah), Brody and Brooklyn, and four great grandkids, Trinity, Nora, Grayson and Dallas.

He is survived by his loving family and friends, who will forever hold dear his memory. Bubba will be remembered for his "Bubba'isms", giving of advice and always making sure that his family was taken care of.

May he rest in eternal peace, free from pain, and may his memory continue to bring comfort to those who mourn his passing.
