Sister Mary Christella Mitchell, RSM, age 84, died peacefully at McAuley Convent, in Merion, Pennsylvania on Wednesday, February 23, 2022. She is pre-deceased by her parents, grandparents and her siblings; Marie, William Catherine and Barbara. In addition to her religious community, Sister Mary Christella is survived by her niece Carol, as well numerous grand-nieces and grand-nephews, Sisters Viewing will be held on Friday, March 4 9:00AM - 10:00AM with her Funeral Liturgy to follow 10:00 AM at the Convent of Mercy Chapel 515 Montgomery Avenue, Merion, PA 19066. Burial immediately following at the Sisters of Mercy cemetery in Merion All attending must be fully vaccinated and wear masks.
