Robert James Miller

Robert James Miller, 69, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2024 in West Palm Beach Florida surrounded by his loved ones.

Bob is survived by his mother M. Jessie LeMay of Bristol CT, his loving children, Michele Meyer and her husband Thomas of East Hartford, CT.; Timothy Miller and his wife Nicole of Newington, CT.; Emily Miller and her fiance Renzo Silva of Wethersfield, CT.; James Miller and his partner Kelly Dougherty of Middletown, CT.; and nine grandchildren of whom he was very proud; sister Kathy Bergeron and her husband Richard of Burlington, CT., nephew Jon Miller and his wife Amanda of Dayton, OH.; nephew Daniel Bergeron and his wife Laci of Southington, CT.. Bob is preceded in death by his father SGT Anthony John Miller of Hartford, CT.; his stepfather Richard LeMay of Bristol CT.; his brother Anthony John Miller of Pompano Beach, FL,; his nephews Michael Bergeron and Paul Bergeron of Bristol, CT..

Born in Hartford Connecticut in 1954, Bob grew up in Windsor Locks Connecticut and graduated High School in 1972. Bob proudly served our nation by joining the Navy and obtained an Honorable Discharge in 1978.

Bob made friends easily and was loved by everyone. Known to be a kind and gentle soul, Bob was also extremely funny and happily entertained us all with his quick wit and musical talents on piano and violin. His outstanding career in finish carpentry is well known and respected.

In lieu of flowers or donations, Bob would have wanted you to live each day to the fullest and simply to be kind to others.
