Robert Morbitzer

Loving father and grandfather, Robert Joseph (BJ/Bob) Morbitzer, born October 26, 1944, returned bitter sweetly to The Father on his 80th birthday, October 26, 2024. He leaves behind his pride and joy, only son, Sean Michael (Danelle), granddaughter Lillian, and second pride and joy, only grandson, Christian Joseph (CJ) Morbitzer. Robert was born in Columbus, Ohio to the late Edward and Abigail (Frech) Morbitzer. Also preceded in death by his aunt Dorothy (Bob) Ford; brother David and sister Mary Jane Jones. Surviving siblings Edward Morbitzer, Barbara Ridgeway and Dottie Davy. Robert was very outgoing and loved being the center of attention. Most memorable however, was the unconditional love he had for his only son, Sean. A special thanks from the family to all the staff at Country Lane Gardens for the compassionate care and friendship they provided during the last difficult months of his life. Per Robert's wishes, there will be no public viewing or service. Cremation being provided by Day Funeral Service and final resting place will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, next to his grandparents, Albert & Mary Frech.
