Robert Mueller Obituary

91, died Wednesday, December 26, 2007, in Dedham, Massachusetts. Mr. Mueller, formerly of Philadelphia, PA and Wolfeboro, NH, was born on July 30th, 1916, in Pittsburgh, PA, a son of Robert S. and Anna Freeman Mueller. He attended the Gilman School in Baltimore, MD, and graduated from Princeton University, in the Class of 1938. After graduating from college, Mr. Mueller entered the United States Navy, where he served as an officer in the North Atlantic and the Mediterranean during World War II. After the war, Mr. Mueller worked with Dupont until his retirement. Mr. Mueller's wife of 64 years, Alice Truesdale Mueller, died earlier this year. Mr. Mueller is survived by his son, Robert S. Mueller, III of Washington, DC; four daughters: Susan M. Timchak of Lutz, FL; Sandra M. Dick of Brookline, MA; Joan B. Mueller of Pownal, ME; Patricia H. Mueller of Jericho, VT; 11 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. A private Funeral Service will be held at the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., DEDHAM, MA in January, 2008, with a private internment. Mr. Mueller,
Sir, I didn't know you but I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the USN during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
