MULLINS, Robert (BOB-MOON) 82 yrs., on Wed., Dec. 16, 2009, peacefully with his family by his side. Beloved husband of 23 yrs. to Nancy (nee George), predeceased by Cecile (nee Fontaine; 1983). Dear father of Bill Mullins, Mike Mullins & Bernadette, Pat Mullins & Lou. Dear Grandpa of Shawna, Justin & Fahima, Jason & Lana, Lisa & Brandon, Amy, Robie & Nicole, Miranda, Alyssa, Kenneth, Jillian. Dear son-in-law of Jean George & Clifford (1994). Dear brother of Carol Senstad & Ken (2008), Donna Brown & Merton, Roger Mullins & Carol. Predeceased by Shirley & Ray. Dear brother-in-law of Helen Fontaine, Gail Munroe & Dick, Sis Lucas, Joe George & Marlene, Barb Johnsrud, Sandy George & Terry Breaton, Debbie Labonte & Jim. Dear pata of the late Patch (2002), Bob, Clarisse, Pavillon. Also survived by many nieces & nephews. Bob retired as a police constable for the city of Windsor with 32 yrs. of service. He was a member of the K of C Council #2775, Belle River, and was also past president and member of the Good Neighbour Club. Along with Elmer the Elephant, Bob worked with the Safety Patrols in the city schools. He was also a former member of the parish council at St. Simon & St. Jude Church. Visiting Sun., Dec. 20 from 2 to 9 pm at Melady Funeral Home, 572 Notre Dame St., Belle River. Good Neighbour prayers Sun. at 3 pm. Funeral procession leaves the funeral home Mon., Dec. 21, 2009 at 10:30 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am at St. Simon & St. Jude Church. Cremation to follow at Greenlawn Crematorium with burial of Bob's ashes at a later date at St. Simon & St. Jude Cemetery. Donations may be made to Jazzpurr, TLC, or Humane Society.
