Robert Mumm

Robert Stefan Mumm, age 77 of Menifee, California, passed away the morning of February 6th 2025, at Riverside Community Hospital, listening to music while surrounded by loved ones.

Robert was born in Leibniz, Austria on August 2nd 1947 and at 4 years old (1951) immigrated to America with his family.

Robert was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. After his honorable discharge, Robert "Bob" began a 30 year long career at Chrysler Corporation where he was committed to being a "man of the people." He was deeply honored to serve as shop chairman for the United Auto Workers local 230-to which he was elected and re-elected for multiple consecutive terms throughout his career.

He was a devoted husband, and beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Robert loved his family, including his very precious dog, Zoey. He was passionate about music, sports, and cars-especially the '68 Dodge Charger he spent decades rebuilding.

Robert will be truly missed by his loved ones and all who knew him. He is survived by his loving wife Julia; children: Kari, Shannon, Jennifer, Jason (Brenda), and Ryan (Jacqueline); grandchildren: Shane, Christian, Jibril, Kelsey, and Ariana; great-grandchildren: Kaya and Josie; and sister Daniella. He was preceded in death by his daughter Jennifer Howell, sister Melitta, and brother Edmund.

Memorial Services for Robert will be held on, March 3rd 2025 @ 12:45 pm at the Riverside National Cemetery, located at: 22495 Van Buren Boulevard, Riverside, CA 92518.
