Robert A. Nearing, Jr.
"Robby"
We are saddened to announce the passing of Robert A. Nearing, Jr. Thursday, March 12, 2015.
Loving son of Robert A. Nearing Sr. and the late Judith Mae Nearing. Brother of Michele and Beth.
Robby devoted 25 years of his life to JANCO Greenhouses. He worked in various capacities alongside his father and uncles, Reggie and Jimmy.
Robby had a zest for life. He is fondly remembered by countless friends and extended family members. Robby will be remembered for his generosity and his ever present smile. Robby's infectious laughter made sure everyone around him, especially kids had a great time. His sense of humor will be missed. He enjoyed nothing more than being with good friends and the good times that ensued.
Robby loved boating and golf. He spent many summers adjusting his Attitude navigating the Maryland water ways. Robby really was at home spending his days boating on the water. He was known to have lost his voice as a screaming Redskin fan. Especially during the wonderful winning Super Bowl seasons!
Celebration of Life services will be held at Hines-Rinaldi , Saturday March 28, 2015 10:30 am - 12:30 pm. We welcome the sharing of memories and funny stories.
Please join us afterward for a reception at Seibels Restaurant 15540 Old Columbia Pike Burtonsville, Md. Phone: (301) 421-1897
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to www.woundedwarriorproject.org in Robby's name.

Sadly today we all have to say farewell to Robbie. Having known him since the day he was born, makes it very hard to think about how much we will all miss his smile and fun loving ways. He still called me Aunt Aliki, just as he did when he was a young boy. There will always be a special place for him in my heart.

This is a sad day for many. Knowing Robbie from the day he was born makes it very hard to say farewell today. He still called me Aunt Aliki through all these years. I will miss his smile and his fun loving ways. There will always be a special place in my heart for him.

I am still so shocked and saddened by Robby's passing. He was always so fun and sweet to my Andi and you could tell he just loved her to pieces! He did have a contagious laugh and smile.....just a very and kind-hearted soul. He truly was sunshine in our lives. God bless him and Uncle Bobby who we love and pray for daily. Loving memories, Toni-Marie and Andi

It is with heart felt sadness that we heard about Robbie's passing. We had the pleasure of knowing him both professionally and personally. He could always be counted on to handle any situation with humor, honesty, respect and class. We will miss him.

I had the great pleasure of working with Robbie for several years.
When our business was in its' darkest hour, Robbie provided great judgement and calm - and steered us through.
He was a warm and caring person, and will be greatly missed.
Condolences to his family and friends.

Robbie was one of my favorite golfing buddies and business associate. We always had a bet on the game and we are probably close to even on the win-lose. We will miss him a great deal. George Dean
