My sympathy to the family of Bob Niedermayer.
My memories of Bob go back to when I was growing up in Fort Qu'Appelle. Not much was available for organized sports for boys in those days. Thank Heaven for Bob. He cared enough to teach us how to play hockey, drove us to other towns to play and even bought us treats afterwards. I've always remembered that and have often spoken of my admiration and respect for him. He was truly a special person.

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to sons Dr.Bob Niedermayer,Brad Niedermayer and daughter Terry Leibel and their extended
families. Bob was my brother-in-law and I vividly remmember visiting Flo and Bob at the Valley Cafe in Fort Qu'Apple when Bob used to ask mom and dad " Do you ever feed this kid? I'd rather pay his rent then his food bill." My sister Flo would always stand up for me and say "Leave my little brother alone",We
always had good times together. I spoke with him more during his last days and I'll always cherish those times and my time growing up,where he was more like a second father to me. I will miss not talking with him. He was the best brother-in-law. I'm sure he is in heaven.

Dear Terry and family,
It's been a long time since we've seen each other but reading about your dad has brought back so many memories of living in the Fort. We had so many fun times as kids and that is how I will always remember your dad, the wonderful father who always had a smile.
My thoughts are with you and your family.

Dear Brad, Joan, Terry & Wayne,
I was so sorry to hear about your Dad. I remember trips out to have pop at the Valley Cafe, visiting with your Dad and being thoroughly amazed at the fish. Know that you are all in my thoughts.
Sincerely,
