Robert Page

Robert Bob L. Page, 80, of Topeka, passed away, Sunday, December 11, 2011. Bob was born January 30, 1931 in Adrian, Missouri the son of Robert L. and Wilma M. (Shelton) Page. Mr. Page served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict. He retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. He was a member of Local #307 Tire and Rubber Workers Union. He was also a member of Southwest Baptist Church. Bob married Lola Mae Johns May 22, 1954 in Kansas City, Missouri. She survives. Other survivors include his daughter Beverly Page-Ferrell, Topeka, KS; his sister, Darlene Palermo, Elk Grove, CA,; his step sister Marge (Bob) Cliffman, Nevada, MO; his step brother, Jim (Jolene) Blazer, Pryor, OK; his grandchildren, Justin (Traci) Ferrell, Concordia, KS, Derek Ferrell, Ft. Myers, FL; Heather Ferrell, Chicago, IL and one great grand child, Piper Ferrell. He was preceded in death by a step sister Martha Coffey. Bob will lie in state after 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 16, at the Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Ave., Topeka, KS 66604. A funeral ceremony will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 16, at the funeral home followed by burial in West Lawn Memorial Gardens with military honors.
