Robert D. Parish

Robert was born on December 14, 1933 and passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2016. Robert was a resident of Elkhart, Indiana at the time of his passing. He was married to Sharon Kay McClane. Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm Thursday, Sept. 1, 2016 at New Life Christian Church 15685 IN 120, Bristol, IN 46507. There will also be one hour of visitation prior to the 11 am funeral service at New Life Christian Church and interment will follow in Frame Cemetery. Pastor Vance Stesh will officiate, and Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home has been entrusted with his care. Bob was employed as a truck driver with Homan Lumber for many years. He enjoyed watching Notre Dame Football, westerns, and stock car racing. He was also a proud lifetime member of the DAV in Goshen, and the American Legion in Osceola. Most of all, Bob enjoyed spending time with his family. In his memory, donations may be made to the New Life Christian Church of Bristol.
