PARKINSON, Robert On Sunday, October 4, 2009 in Hudson, Quebec, Robert (Bob) Parkinson passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loving family members. Beloved husband of Lianne (Bridges), and devoted and loving father to Kim (Matty), Stacy, Kevin, Kaiden and Kerrsen. Predeceased by his father Robert; survived by his mother Elizabeth and his brothers, Robin (Linda), Leigh (Franquie) and Chris (Jean) and many much loved nieces and nephews from both of the Parkinson and Bridges families. Special thanks go to Nova Hudson nurses, Judy, Wanda and Betty for their incredible dedication, compassion and support. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Bob's name to Nova Hudson ( www.NOVAhudson.com ). Visitation will be held at F. Aubry et Fils Funeral Home, 434 Main Street in Hudson on Thursday, October 8 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A memorial service celebrating Bob's life will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Church at 413 Main Road in Hudson on Friday, October 9 at 11 a.m.

Lianne,
My name is Doug Fraser and I had the pleasure of working with Bob back in the mid 80's in Winnipeg with Christie Brown.
I am absolutley saddened/shocked by this announcement.
I remember Bob as a vibrant individual. He moved from Quebec to Winnipeg, not knowing what to expect. He experienced a culture shock for certain but easily adapted to the change. He tried hard to understand the "prairie" life and we had a lot of laughs along the way. He will be missed.
