Dear Margie,
I was so sorry to hear of your loss. Bob was married to my cousin Jean. Elenor Fell and my mother, Betty Parker were sisters. I have fond memories of Bob during family gatherings at Christmas and my mother was extremely fond of him. I was so happy to see him several years ago at my aunt Jean's funeral. Once again, I am so sorry for your lost.

Dear Margie,
On behalf of everyone at Knoxville Opera, please accept my condolences. I always looked forward to seeing Bob every Tuesday at Rotary and will miss our conversations about the operas, the ever-present twinkle in his eyes, his smile, and sense of humor. Thank you for your and Bob's friendship and support which has meant so much to me personally. May the memory of the great times Bob shared with everyone be a blessing to all.

I certainly enjoyed working with Bob over the past several decades!! Lots of good memories of projects and people Bob introduced me to even in Cocke County!! He should have written a book titled "Tales of the Tannery!!" He will be missed by many!

So sorry to hear of Bob's passing. I thoroughly enjoyed meeting and working with Bob when the owners of Mountain Homes decided to reconstruct their electrical power. It also was enjoyable to watch his architectural skills at work when he decided to have the home moved to it's present location there at Mountain Homes. Your family will be sustained and strengthened by many prayers as time goes by.

The East Tennessee Chapter of the American Institute of Architects mourns the lost of one of our iconic members. Mr. Parrott was an exemplary architect, as his peers noted when they inducted him into the College of Fellows. His influence on Knoxville's built environment, and on the practice of those he mentored, will be a lasting tribute to his memory. Our thoughts are with the family.
