Mr. and Mrs. Pendleton and family, I am very sorry for your loss my heart goes out to you all.
I am blessed to have had Robert as my friend. He was funny, smart, witty, kind, classy, polite and a joy to be around. I will always have fond memories of the times we shared. I am missing him dearly. Eventhough we didn't see as much of one another as we would have liked to over the years, he was often in my thoughts and in my heart. I am greatful for the time I spent with him resently in person and via several phone calls, I only wish that we had more time.
Also,I am very glad he knew I loved him, as we oftened ended our calls telling each other so(this meant alot to me)for one never knows what tomarrow may bring.
Robert- T.T.F.N. my dear friend may the wind blow you safely home until we meet again, Deb.

I am sorry to hear of Robert's passing. We were best friends in the late elementary school years and middle school (in Miz Goz's class-- see Margaret Gosfield's entry). Robert and I famously produced haunted houses on Halloween and enjoyed talking about academic topics not normally discussed by kids of our age. I'm sad that we didn't keep in touch and my sympathies go out to his wonderful family.

My heart was saddened to learn of Robert's death. It has been many years since Robert was a student in my GATE history class at Balboa Junior High School, but he will always be remembered for his special qualities. My heartfelt sympathy to Robert's family.
